Wow, it has been forever and I am sorry for not posting....ever again. I will try this blog thing and I will try to post pics as well. Here are a few that I have downloaded from our little camera. Some are from Christmas and others are miscellaneous ones. I will try to post others soon.

By the way, here is a pic of the Irving Corps building. Boy, were we shocked and scared when we pulled up to it for the first time. I can tell you we have grown in countless ways as we have experienced more than a year here. Time have been really fun, and there have been very hard times. However, God has seen us through it and has allowed us to gain knowlege, strength as well as a deeper relationship with Him.  We can't wait to see what else is in store during our time here.

Ok, Here I am finally posting a second time. Things are good in the Trayler "park". Our kids are a little under the weather, however we are fine. Kettles have started and we are very busy. Toyshop starts up and we will be even busier.

You know, it is very funny the things you have to say to people in a "new bell ringer orientation". Things like:

"Please make sure that  you take a bath, comb your hair and brush your teeth, or we   will not let you ring. AND Please make sure you clothes are clean and look nice." OR

"Do not steal the kettle!" AND "You need to come to work on time or we will have to terminate your employment with The Salvation Army!" KETTLE WORKER: "What does terminate employment mean?" OFFICER: "It means you will no longer work for us. We will let you go."

Rebecca and I are excited about Thursday, Thanksgiving. Like last year, we are invited to set with our Area Commanders, Divisional Commanders, Chief of Staff/wife and National Commanders in the Jone's Family suite during the Thanksgivng Day game at Cowboy's Stadium. It is a little intimidating however, last year, it was really fun. It is also a long day in between two busy kettle days but we will survive.

Well, I will post next time and I promise, once I learn; I will post pics.

Thanks for stopping by my page!
